#20160709 - Diploma final year student from a village near Tiruttani

Beneficiary is currently doing his 3rd year Diploma (Mechanical) from Ammayarkuppam near Tiruttani, living with his father, mother and two younger brothers studying 8th and 10th from a government school nearby.

Only source of income is the daily wages of his father and mother working as weaver for someone in their village. Because of inflation and other issues like power cut's, they couldn't earn enough to run their family smooth. Although having hard times in daily life, they want their children’s to get good education.

He scored well in schoolings from a government school near his home and got admission to this polytechnic. Aalayam has supported him to get through his second year and he showed us the result of 82% in his marks.

Aalayam has approved the scholarship of Rs21000 for this year after verifying his current living condition and the process he made in his education.
